Some hearts are legendary and East Coast songstress and all-around bright star, JJ_FS, is no exception. Her debut cassette, PSYCHO MINI, eases in with its chilling embrace. A stern beauty permeates the seven electric-pop torch songs that have been bubbling up over the past several years; some of which were expertly tinkered with on metro rides between NYC & Philadelphia. This sense of travel prevails herein and guides us on a ghostly tour of the human heart. PSYCHO MINI is equal parts unrequited love, and love rewarded, stoic pop thump, and icy twilight minimalism.
