In the time leading up to this release, 19 year old Hector McLachlan, sent me a message regarding his first cassette (and first with us) FOREST MUSIC as being, "inflected jazz tunes that draw equal influence from children's literature as well as the New Zealand bush." That being said, this young Wellington resident, keeps his finger on the pulse and lets his subtle math jazz fill up the room. The future is cool. Another gem recorded in scenic Wellington NZ. 50 clear pro-dubbed cassettes where made for the people.
